Monday night provides us with some Conference football and the rare chance to see Burton Albion live on television when they welcome Forest Green Rovers.

The home side are in sixth place at the moment while the visitors are languishing 12 points behind in mid-table so there is a gap in class.

Burton's 2-1 win over Woking on Saturday kept their promotion hopes alive while Forest Green registered a fine 2-0 win at Oxford United although there is no chance of them getting out of the league.

It's not always easy to find a winner in a Conference table which is characterised by inconsistency and with so many former League clubs looking to get back among the big boys.

However, we can't see this being anything other than a straightforward home win.

Nigel Clough believes home form can take Albion up this season and certainly on their day, they are a match for most in the Conference. We agree and will back them against Rovers.
