Man U, Spurs, Rangers our Sunday treble

Cup football north and south of the border on Sunday will hopefully prove to be fruitful as we try to come to terms with Arsenal's fine if unexpected victory against Liverpool at Anfield. A result we never predicted!

We will go with a three-match accumulator and although our first two tips do not offer the greatest odds, they will help stack up when going onto our third bet. All three bets will be a half-time/full-time result.

Manchester United to beat Aston Villa is a stick-on and Betterbet.com is giving 4/6 for the home team to be leading at the interval and at full-time.

(Incidentally, if you are feeling lucky, why not take Henrik Larsson at 10/3 to score the first goal against his former Celtic boss Martin O'Neill?) Take that United bet and let it ride on Rangers to beat Dunfermline away in the Scottish Cup.

The Ibrox side have just lost manager Paul Le Guen but will be boosted by club hero Ian Durrant being in the dugout and, despite their failings, they are playing a struggling Pars side who are bottom of the SPL.

Take Rangers at 10/11 to win both halves and put it onto the more trickier game at Cardiff where Tottenham are the visitors.

Simple form is our guide to this fixture so we will take Spurs at 11/8 to be winning at half-time and full-time.

The Londoners have improved their poor away record while Dave Jones' side have now gone 10 games without a victory.

And Spurs again also look to be more of a cup side than a real threat in the league - through to last four of the Carling Cup, they have also reached the knockout stages of the UEFA Cup.

We think they will sweep aside the Welsh and hopefully complete a nice treble.
