More misery for Steve
England limp into Wednesday's tricky friendly match against Holland in the Amsterdam Arena with the usual call-offs that accompany challenge matches.
However, boss Steve McClaren knows he has plenty to prove to the England fans and pundits who have been unconvinced since he took over from the much-maligned Sven Goran Eriksson after the World Cup.
The Dutch are not the superstars of old but then again neither are England and by naming his side 24 hours before the game, McClaren has left himself open to more criticism.
His revamped side, which sees the inclusion of teenage defender Micah Richards and Everton striker Andrew Johnson are under pressure to perform and they will come up against a Holland side who will be formidable in front of their own demanding supporters.
